Bison Roofing and Solar was a long time in the making! Adam (Buffalo, NY) and Kimberly (Loves Park, IL) met in Madison, WI in 2003 and traveled the country together helping families restore their homes after natural disasters. Adam established his own roofing company in 2005. After many years of travel, Adam and Kimberly were finally able to achieve their dream of planting roots in South Florida. Adam became a Licensed Roofing Contractor and Kimberly became the 9th woman in Florida to become a Licensed Solar Contractor. Together they now own Bison Roofing and Solar and have made the local, family owned company, the #1 Roofing & Solar company in South Florida.
Our mission is to help people save money through controlling their energy costs and help build a more sustainable planet by providing affordable, reliable solar systems.
Our vision is for every residential home in our community to be powered by renewable energy instead of relying on monopoly utilities and fossil fuels for energy consumption.

In 2019, Bison donated a new roof and solar system to a family in need within our community. We were able to replace their leaky roof and also install a solar system to eliminate their monthly utility expense. Check out the video to the left for details. We loving giving back to our community and hope to offer another giveaway soon.

The purpose was to provide consumers with real, trustworthy information on Solar PV Systems. VOLUNTEERING WITH
GRID ALTERNATIVES
The co-owner of Bison, and the 9th woman to become a Florida Licensed Solar Contractor, volunteered through the wonderful Grid Alternatives “Women In Solar” program. Women get hands on training by installing rooftop solar PV systems on low income housing; the install teams are made up of both women only trainers and volunteers.
