choosing your contractor

LICENSE HOLDER

Roofing companies in Florida are required to have a Licensed Roofing Contractor qualify the business. Ask who will be listed on your permit? Where are they located and are they involved in the permitting and installation process?

Insurance

Make sure your contractor holds the proper General Liability and Workers Compensation policies. You can request that your contractor send you insurance certificates to verify their policies are sufficient and up to date.

Warranties

Ask your contractor to supply you with a written manufacture warranty for the products they are using. Also be sure your contractor provides you with a written workmanship warranty to cover you incase of an installation issue.

Reviews

Research your contractor's reputation by reviewing other customer's experiences. A great way to do this is looking at reviews from a non biased, free source, such as google. Just be careful of your sources, some sources are paid for by the business receiving the reviews.
