Go Solar

Why Solar?

Energy Independence

By creating your own electricity from a renewable and green energy source like solar power, you are no longer depending on the utility company to constantly power your home. If you finance your solar system, you will also have locked-in low rates and no longer be victim to utility rate increases. You can kiss you ultra-high FPL bill goodbye!

Save Money

Generate your own renewable energy instead of renting your electricity from your utility company. With zero down financing, your new solar payment can meet or beat your current electric bill, which means you save money starting day one!

Tax Incentives

Customers that purchase a solar system are able to to take advantage of the 30% Investment Tax Credit. A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in income taxes that you would be paying to the Federal Government.  To learn more click here.

Substantial ROI

Investing in a solar system has proven it can be a more reliable and substantial return than investing in the stock market. Investing in a solar power system instead of renting your electricity is much like purchasing a house instead of renting a dwelling. When you sign up for your free solar evaluation we will provide you with a recommendation that outlines your ROI.

Save The Planet

Reduce your carbon footprint by generating your own alternative energy right on the roof of your solar home. The average size solar system that we install reduces approximately 21,500 lbs of C02 emissions each year (That’s like preventing 10,500 lbs of coal from being burned)!

Photovoltaic `{`foh-toh-vol-tey-ik, -vohl-`}` System
A photovoltaic system, also solar PV power system, or PV system, is a power system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics. It consists of an arrangement of several components, including solar panels to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity, a solar inverter to change the electric current from DC to AC, as well as mounting, cabling and other electrical accessories to set up a working system. -Wikipedia

How Does Solar Work?

renewable resources diagram

BEFORE Solar System Install

  1. Electricity is produced at power plants (Nuclear Electric Stations, Hydroelectric Stations, Fossil Fuel Electric Stations) and then distributed through an electric utility grid.
  2. You must depend on your utility company for all your electricity and you will also victim to the utility rate increases.
  3. You are missing out on all the benefits of producing your own renewable energy!

AFTER Solar System Install

  1. Solar radiation hits panels and converts photon energy into DC electricity.
  2. DC voltage is then converted to to AC household electricity and sent to your power distribution panel.
  3. AC power is then transferred through your AC Power Distribution Panel to power your entire house.
  4. Excess PV power that you do not use will turn your meter backwards and is exported to the grid.  You receive a credit at the full retail value that you pay for your utility electricity (ie. net-metering).
  5. When you are not producing enough PV power to power your home (such as in the evenings when sun has set), additional power is imported from the utility.
